Jason Fox Battle Scars

In 2018 Jason Fox and Matt Allen published, with Penguin,  Battle Scars; A Story of War and All That Follows. Jason Fox had joined the Royal Marine Commandos and later the Special Forces. He was medically discharged with PTSD and became my client.

Some years later he gained a platform on Channel 4's SAS Who Dares Wins, where he chose to talk about his mental health and recovery journey; including the therapy that we did together in the woods in Devon.

Now, Jason has a large following on social media, where he speaks publicly about mental health and all he has learned. He has since also published other books and done a number of documentaries for Netflix and Channel 4, including charity endurance events.

What Jason chose to do was provide an honest and vulnerable real-life story of how mental health is really experienced, which helped many men and women alike to come forward and seek help.

Jason notes it's important to remember that trauma is not isolated to the battle field. You don't need to have been shot at to find yourself struggling. No one needs to suffer alone and finding the right help for you is essential.
